Referral Process

Unfortunately due the current demand on our counselling and one-to-one support services we will have to close our waiting list and will not be taking referrals until further notice. Until then, we encourage young people to use our Walk-In/Drop-In service as regularly as you need to. These are times we set aside during the week where young people can receive ad hoc one-to-one support.

Walk In: Monday/Thursday 4-7pm

Drop-In: Wednesday 4.30-7.30/ Friday 1-4pm (Free massage available)

Apologies for any inconvenience. We will update our website once the waiting list has re-opened.

What happens next?

When you make contact with us we will ask you for some information about yourself and your reasons for seeking support. We will also ask you about the best way to contact you and send information about all the services we can offer at The Junction.

Within 4 weeks we will get in touch to offer you an access appointment.

What is an access appointment?

This is an opportunity for you tell us what’s going on in your life and ask any questions you may have. It is also a chance to work out how we may be able to best help you. At this point we will give you an idea of how long you may have to wait before starting with your worker.

In the meantime you might like to attend the Junction’s Drop-in or the Walk-in service, where you can also talk to a youth worker in a confidential environment.
