…The JYAs explore how they and The Junction can work towards creating positive changes.
The JYAs volunteer and support The Junction to develop its services, whilst evolving their own own understanding of health and wellbeing issues, and promoting the work of the organisation.
The JYAs previous projects includecreating promotional material, awareness raising campaigns, supporting staff to host launch events and exhibitions, presentations at The Scottish Parliament, outreach to other organisation and local schools. Do You Want to…

Meetings are on the first Thursday of each month 5.00pm – 6.30pm
As part of volunteering your time you will also:
to visit other organisations
trips to things like shows and concerts
a Saltire Award after 10 hours of contribution
a letter of recommendation available after six months (to boost your CV!)
We also cover JYA bus costs and provide snacks and refreshments at meetings.
