Celebrating Our Impact 2024 – 2025

Celebrating Our Impact 2024 – 2025

On the 20th of November 2025 we celebrated The Junction’s Impact at Leith Dockers Club (kindly donated).

This powerful event celebrated The Junction’s 20 years of service with stories, poetry and music from young people. Contributions from Sam Anderson (the charities Founder), Irvine Welsh (our Patron), and highlights of our new Strategy 2025 – 2028 were shared.

We shared our Impact Report 24-25 and displayed ‘My Junction Stories’ case studies and art work. 67 people attended including young people, our supporters, partners and elected members. Attendees told us that they ‘laughed and cried’ with young people’s inputs valued above all else.

Thank you to everyone that attended and took part.

Key Impact Report Findings (2024 – 2025):

We supported 1817 young people delivering 4,729 engagements

We worked intensively with 485 young people via one-to-one support and group

Quotes from Young People

“The Junction has made such a fantastic impact on my life. I started going when I was really anxious about going to school and now I feel like I can totally cope, not just with school but with loads other things…It has helped me ‘come out’ and I now have a safe space with lots of supportive people. Whatever happens in my week, I always think I can go to The Junction and talk about it.”
