Outreach Work

We are committed to reaching young people that are most in need of services and reach young people living in poverty as well as equality groups.

Our outreach sessions aim to:

Street Outreach

streetoutreach

Our team deliver street outreach session in the Leith (and surrounding areas) at different times each week. They let young people know about the different services available at The Junction, give information about a monthly health topic, and provide C:Card ‘grab bags’ for over 16’s.

If you see them out and about give them a shout and say hello!

School Outreach

We can deliver and facilitate educational group work sessions to S1-S6 pupils, working closely with the school guidance departments at Trinity Academy, Leith Academy and Drummond Community High School.

We also have an in-house specialist who can provide educational inputs with schools on Substance Use throughout the North East Edinburgh area.

Reaching Out to Equalities Groups

We can deliver educational group work on a range of wellbeing topics to local youth groups as well as group which focus on improving the lives of specific equality groups including: BAME young people, LGBTQ+ young people, young carers, and care experienced young people.
